It’s been a while since I’ve stopped in to talk about what’s going on at Hair House, but only because we’ve been so crazy busy! We blew through the fall (2 storms!?) then the holidays (which was tainted by the tragic event) and here we are in February 2013! What a year it’s been already!!

For the Hair House it marks our 5th year (already!!) and as we look back a little what a ride it’s been!! We’ve grown, oh how we’ve grown! From 2 employees to 14! And we have experimented with different add on services besides the hair to make a more complete one stop experience!! We’ve won some and not, but the outcome has been great, an enviroment that suits the needs of our guests to a “T”! A place where you can feel comfortable, get quality services that you want and need at a price that makes sense! This has been and always will be our mission!

This year will be no different, Hair House is introducing our Nail Club, that’s right, another way to make an ordinary experience an extrordinary one at a price that will save you money! Here’s how it works: sign up for 3, 6, or 12 months for any of our nail packages and save up to $240 depending on the package you choose! It’s that simple! Membership entitles you to the best prices, preferential appointments, and the quiet privacy of our nail room. In preparing for the winter this year I certainly was taken by surprise with the mild weather and sunshine, it feels like an early spring! Especially after the “fall blizzard” we got socked with in October! I guess it just goes to show you that even the seasons can change their looks!

Now that the hoopla of all the holidays is behind us it’s hard to keep that warm fuzzy feeling that spending time with family and friends leaves us with. Especially when the weather has been as brutal as these past couple of weeks. ( with no end in sight!)

Resolutions seem nearly impossible to keep, work is getting tedious, cabin fever is setting in and we just don’t look and feel our best when we look in the mirror.

The bad news is we can’t change the weather right now, just wait it out! We can’t change our jobs right now with the economy the way it is, but we should be grateful we have jobs, and as far as cabin fever well, unless your going away somewhere warm (good for you!!) we just have to wait that out too!
